The Lost Giant

This piece is a farewell memorial.....a saying good bye to a New York city icon.

As a football fan I was shocked and disappointed to hear of the trade of New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to the Cleveland Browns. This was my second attempt at the use of pastels as the primary form of media, although, it is not all pastels. The red outline is obtained by the use white charcoal, red ink pen and a light pass of oil based color pencil.

I wanted to capture a piece of time, a moment of reflection for all NFL football fans to remember 2019 as the year New York lost a Giant.
