Spheres of Emotion

As with the others in this dream-catcher series, the background here is unique. I’m a “feelings” painter, rather than trusting my eyes, as I’m color-blind.

The rings I’ve been painting are like my version of a dream-catcher with my thoughts suspended within.

In the case of the small spherical containers, these are my love-adjacent feelings; amor, lust, desire, romance, jealousy.

Each of my dream-catchers has wings, representing my willingness to put myself out there, or to fly away from the troubles in my life.

Medium: Acrylic and oil paint over bristol paper
